Großes Haus

With Mailles Dorothée Munyaneza gathers on stage five women who, as poets, performance artists, flamenco dancers, singers and choreographers have inspired her in a multitude of ways. Each of them is African or of African descent: Haitian, Rwandan, British, Danish born Somali or Ethiopian living in the Netherlands. They are united by their stories of adversity and resilience. Interweaving their distinct voices in a universal tale, Munyaneza captures in them the beauty of an undefeated, feminine force of creation.
